- Dato’ Hj. Abd Aziz bin Abu Bakar is a respected tax consultant with over 33 years of experience in taxation, accounting, and business advisory. He currently serves as President of the Malaysian Association of Tax Accountants (MATA) and holds board positions at SALIHIN Shariah Advisory Sdn. Bhd. and Akademi Ikhtisas Berhad.
- He began his career with an international accounting firm and has since become a trusted advisor to government agencies, including the Ministry of Finance. He is a Licensed Tax Agent under the Income Tax Act 1967 and an approved zakat collector for various Malaysian states. A frequent speaker on income tax, GST/SST, and zakat, he also lectures on Islamic Financial Planning and has co-authored several publications in the field.
