- Abdussalam bin Shokhawi is currently serving as the Executive Director & Head of Group Managing Partner’s Office (GMPO) at SALIHIN Group since February 2023 and the CEO of SALIHIN Academy since January 2025. As the longest-serving team member, he began his career with SALIHIN in 2002 and has developed vast expertise in corporate governance, business development, strategic management, and transformation initiatives.
- His experience spans multiple critical functions including corporate communication, branding, R&D, media management, and financial accounting, alongside specialties in GST and forensic auditing. Previously, he held key leadership positions such as Head of Transformation and Governance Unit, Head of GST Department, and Head of Corporate Finance & Transaction Services.
- He also served as a Member of the Customs Appeal Tribunal (CAT) and Goods and Services Tax Appeal Tribunal (GSTAT) under the Ministry of Finance Malaysia, presiding over more than 100 appeal cases. A frequent writer and trainer, Abdussalam has authored several GST-related publications and conducted nationwide training.
- He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and a Diploma in Accounting from Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL). He is a Chartered Accountant (MIA) and Chartered Tax Accountant (MATA), and was a Licensed GST Agent.
